I had it twice: once with you, once at the North Korean restaurant, to see if I really disliked it: I do.

Still, I'd put it on a list of things that should be eaten once... Hey, they put the Big Mac on there. It's about memorable. :)

I didn't try bulgarian yogurt... Now I wish I did!! I only spent 2 days in Sofia, but I really loved the food there. Helene is addicted to shopska now, and I should probably put that on my list. :)

Halvah and lokum are awesome, I agree! And I have fond memories of the lobster... Not that I feel great about having a lobster twitch on the table in front of me, but he sure was tasty... and the company was awesome. :)

As for lutenitca, I *think* I had homemade lutenitca in Macedonia... Not sure if that's what it was, but I think so. It is one of the most amazing thing I've ever eaten!! I was TOTALLY hungover from rakiya, even was sick... and this thing brought me back to life, I swear. :)

Oh, buddy, that's a mission I'd be more than happy to share with you! I had super-awesome foie gras in Montreal, as well as in Shanghai... If I found it in China, it HAS to exist in Edmonton, right? ... right?

I try foie gras whenever I see it on a menu but my favorite preperation was at the Shiru Bay Chopstick Cafe in Vancouver which just closed. I've made it my new mission to find a good foie gras in Edmonton
